Idk where to begin? The terrible CGI? The obvious corporate advertising? Rexy can tear apart a Ford explorer but this rex can't put a hole in a rubber raft. This movie is bad. No Jurassic Park vibes at all. The dilophosaurus looked worse than in 1993. The Hollywood days are numbered. We've learned two things from this movie. That if it has a "Jurassic" tag on it, ppl will go waste money chasing nostalgia and the franchise. But this franchise should have died with the lost world or even the OG movie. Plot armor a mile thick, teens offering weed to kids, and as per the 21st century standards, the evil white man is the root of all problems and everyone else is just trying to survive his system. They used AI to write a script and rip off scenes from older Jurassic movies. The excitement and creativity is gone. But my biggest problem, is this movie erased in the first 20 minutes, what the first 6 Jurassics had spent 30+ years getting established. Dr Malcolm told us repeatedly that life finds a way. Genetic power is weilded dangerously and with hubris. Movies 1-3 tell us life will find a way. 4-6 show us life has found a way and is now established. Hence Jurassic world. But this is called "rebirth" and yet all the dinosaurs are dead or dying unless they live at the equator AND ppl don't care about dinosaurs at all anymore apparently. Such a waste. Hollywood is bad. They'll regurgitate anything instead of risking on creativity and something new. At this rate, the next Jurassic movie will be probably a gay family running from a trans dinosaur that doesn't eat anyone unless they refuse to use its pronouns correctly. I really think AI wrote the script. It's that bad and recycled scenes from past movies. Nothing will change or improve as long as ppl continue to spend money on this crap. If you have any self respect or respect for the og Jurassic Park, don't see this movie. I'm ashamed of myself for wasting the money.
