I'm another former-Jack Reacher fan. With Andrew Child coming on board, the books have gotten progressively worse. After struggling through The Sentinel, I vowed to stop reading them, they have just gotten to be so bad. With the 1st brothers' collaboration, it seemed like L Child was still involved, but by The Sentinel, it read like L Child was totally uninvolved and he gave full authorship to A Child. A Child's writing style so totally and noticeably different, with short, sometimes one-word sentence, as if he's trying to emulate Hemingway. It's so embarrassingly bad; I won't waste my time reading new Reacher books anymore; I'd rather re-read older Reacher novels. & so glad Amazon had picked up the novels for a streaming series. I'll be watching these instead of reading another A Child book.
