I have not read the books so I can't comment on the source material. And I have never EVER written a review before, but damn this show sucked so bad, I just had to leave a review. I don't like to speak negatively about peoples' hardwork but man... I don't understand why anyone has any attraction to the show. I kept watching and waiting for something that approached a solid well done show because so many people said it was good. I was never rewarded. The actors... I feel bad for them. The have to work so hard for so little return. There is next to no chemistry between them. The story makes huge assumptions and leaps that had me consistently wondering if I just missed something or if you had to read the books to understand it. The story telling is really poor, the direction is poor, the acting is poor, the camera work is poor, the dialogue is poor, character development is poor, music is poor... I mean its just poor. I will sum it up like this: It looks cheap, feels cheap and I literally didn't care about any characters, the world or the situation anyone experienced. It's kind of amazing... Go. Watch Upload instead of this. HELL go watch anything instead of this.
