Loved it . I always liked this type of show.. sorta like the office mixed w/ curb your enthusiasm w/ the confessionals & how they kinda portray it like a reality show.. So that type of setting(best word that comes to mind sry lol) added with some raunchy jokes & comments plus all the cameos.. that’s my kinda show👌🏼 Doesn’t hurt that I’ve always liked Rashida Jones. Now, I’m a Fan of Kenya Barris too ...& I know who he is Lol Used to watch Blackish but that got uninteresting after one season. Anyways, I know this show has gotten mixed reviews but personally I really liked it even more then I thought I would have! Hope there’s more to come !! Btw: Who really cares if it’s similar to Curb your enthusiasm? I don’t understand why it would be criticized for that? Lots of shows have done similar ideas. The office, Parks & Rec, 30 rock.. Idk I’m not a pro or the most knowledgeable When it comes to this stuff obviously.. but In my opinion, someone’s got to pave the way w/ a new genre/ idea at some point. Allowing others to try to put a different twist on it Or appeal to a diff audience . I think they’re both great shows.

I put this off bc the last thing I wanted to do was watch another overly dramatic tween/teen movie. But I started it anyways and got completely sucked in half way through the first episode. Now I may be tiny bit biased bc I lived in NC there and also where the creators are from. So in the back of my mind I think that swayed my decision a little to check it out But I’m so glad I did!! It’s hard to get to the part where you press play Lol I get that. There’s way too many bad shows .. even good ones .. that are soooo similar. 🙄 Although this one I really liked & really got into the characters and can’t wait for season 2!
