Kal Fisher – Google

Ug. So I realllllly wanted to like this movie (I even reinstated an hbo go subscription just to watch it) - but Bad Education was a bad movie. A bad movie that reallllly had potential, but was sadly bad. It’s not the acting, which is superb. Jackman and Janey (sp?) are brilliant at their craft and this film is not an exception in that regard. So why the C- review? It was just bad. Like the screenplay the pace the effing exaggerated-to-a-too-much degree camera angles - it felt like a strange student art film? Like a Mathew Barney art film? Kinda. It just lacked - like there’s nothing at all interesting or compelling about any of the characters in the way they’re portrayed here and yet you know they were likely interesting people. If that makes sense. It’s I dunno. But anyway - it’s kind of a bad movie. Sorry to say.
