Fungus Dingus

2.5/5 stars Movie had potential, but unfortunately the plot is hardly anything and doesn't "make sense". As in, the fire family leaves fire land because only THEIR store gets destroyed in the land, and then they go to elemental land to rebuild their business. But they still have to start from scratch. There was no reason for them to leave fire land lmao. They had their whole family there so I'm just confused on that part. If the plot was just the fire people coming to start a new for a better future for their daughter, that would make sense, but they tack on a confusing plot of their home getting destroyed for no reason. Also, the fact that the fire girl was gonna plead her case by saying her dad would be disappointed is so bad. She should have explained her family's backstory and how they were not allowed anywhere and they literally had to build a home by themselves because everyone turned them away. AND then the fire girl and water guy had to fix the plumbing problem themselves??? A problem that the town needed to fix because it requires construction!!! They shut down water in fire town because it would kill the fire people!! But when there is a Leak, they hold a bet instead that puts ALL of fire town at risk of being KILLED. It's so bad l and the plot was not thought out 😭😭😭 Anyways, the movie is unfortunately pretty boring. I'm more interested in the town it self and wish we got to see more of the elemental architecture and designs and fun and creative ways in which the elementals live. Anyways, it was a little fun to watch. Still, there was potential. I like the charachters and the world, but don't care for the plot. I liked when they did creative stuff for the elementals and how they live and contrast eachother. The world is really fun to watch. ALSO, why are all the elementals so disrespectful of eachother 😭😭 the water is always splashing everyone and stuff. That's so rude lmao. ALSO her love of the arts isn't even a problem with her dad. So there's like no conflict with her and her dad over the arts. And she just kinda randomly is really talented in glass stuff in the middle/end of the movie. There was definitely some behind of the scenes where they kept changing the movie plot and now it's like a jumbled mess of plots. Also, all the reviews complaining about the movie making racist jokes.... the movie is about how the other elementals are racist towards the fire... and its important to teach your kids about racism 😭 . If you don't 'belive' in that, you're insane. And apparently there's a nonbianry charachter. Saw someone get REALLY upset about it in the reviews . You wrote a review for the movie just to complain about non binary people is super embarrassing. Let people live their lives. I didn't even noticed the charachter. Your child won't either. Even they did, they wouldn't care 💀 it wouldn't affect them. Embarrassing.
