Despite the negative reviews, I bought tickets with high hopes that the critics were being characteristically unfair. They were not. The entire film progressed simply for the sake of progression. There was no driving force behind the actions of the characters beyond being written that way. The effects and action sequences were beautiful, but other than being interesting to look at, this movie has nothing to offer.
