No real context. Very odd movie. I feel like two movies were smushed together at the end. Could’ve been fine without the weird addition of the Palm Springs world at the end. That could’ve been its own movie. The two main characters could’ve been just that. Very slow and quiet for those looking for the mainstream apocalyptic style movie. If you’re feeling lonely and in need of purpose give this movie a shot. Otherwise, at own risk (…of time lost…). Wish I would’ve looked it up before watching, but then I wouldn’t have written this bad boy so 🤷🏻‍♀️
