I don't understand how they can truly judge the singers of the show if even the real singers are lip syncing! This is a crapshoot for the person trying to win the money and for us at home to try to figure it out. If both sets are lips syncing they are lip-synching and the judges can't possibly tell if their chest is rising with breaths or inflection or anything like that if they are only lip-synching and not singing! when the real singers finally come out and seeing, they suddenly have facial expressions and look like they are actually singing or they didn't look like that when they were lip syncing. It's pointless if they're lip-synching as well. And then it seems like the ones who can't sing really exaggerate it when their real voices come out. In addition, there is no context in the clues to let judges know anyone is lying, so why even put that part in? I really love the concept but it is pointless if you have the real singers lip syncing. No one can truly judge.
