Though the idea of what is gained and what is lost while being an MI 6 'double O' agent has been ever present in the last four films, the fifth installment is a good send off to the indestructible James Bond. Despite the roundabout reasons for revenge and redemption muddying the (e)motions of the film, it is clear, like any of the other 25 Bond films, any reason is a good reason to save the world, and so we do it again, with feeling. Meaning, our super villain's raison d'etre is kinda 'eh' to get Bond rolling again. But, in all the rigmarole of plot aside, we do see the true reason for the Bond of it all. Why we keep coming back, specially in these last films, from a character that's gone from suave to camp and then left turns at Albuquerque to realistic, to create a character we want to see happy. And not because he deserves it, but because what else is a licensed killer to do when he's done with the job and the life. So if not for Queen and Country, or for World, why not for closure and perhaps a little peace. As the tittle says, Bond has no time ever to die and is always on the clock, even when trying to get his happy ending.
Overall, a good Bond film and a satisfying end to a Bond series; till the new double O comes. "All's Bond That Ends Bond."
