I did not have any idea of where this film was leading me. I saw it had bad reviews but I thought it was genius and don't know why people didn't like it. This film is very timely amidst all the racial tension. Women in general have always been treated poorly in history but for black women it has always been worse. This film may be hard to watch but was brilliant.
