The large percentage of 1 star ratings indicate that Homophobia is live and well in the USA. As for the movie itself, it was both cute and entertaining. It was more about evidence-driven critical thinking challenging long held beliefs than about gayness. Depicting gayness as normal and fully acceptable in society and critical thinking frightens the religious right
