This movie speaks to your heart & soul about the love that we have for others & the brevity of time that we share. For me, this movie was especially poignant as I am a photographer & my father is fighting cancer. The script is well written & the leading & supporting actors do a wonderful job in portraying their respective characters.Ed Harris’s portrayal of photographer Benjamin Ryder is particularly moving as speaks to other photographers about how frightened we are regarding the passage of time. He goes on to say that photographers are able to stop time & commit moments to eternity. I have watched this movie many times & have no doubt that I will watch it many times in the future.
