I love most of the Batman movies but this is a total mess with no character development. I love the 60s series campiness but this is just too goofy. Some of it is just ridiculous, catwoman screams and glass shatters, the Batmobile sheds it's parts to get thin enough to go through an alley, penguin suddenly becomes mayor overnight, his crew comprised of sewer clowns are intelligent enough to remotely control the batmobile. Just really dumb. Cat woman falls out a window and suddenly becomes a cat person and magically learns to fight. And while we love Danny devito, his portrail of penguin is just creepy & gross... the point I know but it's just too much with that shrill voice - nails on a chalkboard. Oh and lets not forget the penguins idiotic duck boat! Watch Batman 89 instead.

It seems like they cobbled together a lame story about a family that was gifted with magic (why?) . The songs are mostly forgettable and the lead characters voice really isn't they good, grinding at times, as are some of the characters themselves. Sure some of the artwork is eye catching, but overall the movie is a mess. Skip it.

Yawn fest...

The 1st season was great. The 2nd season was absolutely terrible. There were way too flashes into Casey's multiple personalities. The characters became SNL skits of themselves. And while it's a comedy mystery, the serious parts became so extremely goofy that it took away from all the parts that were supposed to be mysterious, suspenseful and dramatic, and turned it into a complete mess.
