deeply sweet and moving and genuinely really funny. in any other piece of media joey would be a joke or a villain. the visuals are really gorgeous as far as period pieces go this is really immersive and bright and striking. every episode got better, the reveals and payoffs were great!!! plenty to make a follow up season interesting and DEEPLY wanted without making this season unfinished.
