I love this show. I watched the original, and I have to say, this is much better. I find the writing to be fresh, more clever and way less campy. I like the Old charmed, but it lost a lot of its bite after Prue's departure and weird focuses like Magic School and Billie. The effects are also way better, and while Holly Marie Combs carried the old show, the cast does a great job in each role, so you're literally are watching (save the one person) a great show.
