I might be late to review this but I have been postponing as much as I could watching this movie. The cheating trope is something that I absolutely hate in a movie or a book and it's very hard to do justice to the trope by the writers.
He needed help for his mental health more than his father needed protection. This guys cheats on his wife, tells her about it and the EXCUSE he gives, "It was for papa, I had to do it to save him", like WTF, the only thing you gave her on your guys wedding was the promise to stay loyal and you broke it.
His father was the worst father there could be, well then slowly he became that too.
Storyline is trash, villian was literally shown almost at the end of the movie and killed so soon.
