Personally, this movie wasn't for me. *Disclaimer* I tuned out around halfway. I won't do a deep dive into it, but overall I found it cringe-worthy and boring. Very few parts felt genuine to me, and the characters were shallow and simplistic. The "romance" was very awkward and seemed like an afterthought, you had to assume the connection was established before it was introduced. The ending was out of left field, and it seemed like they threw in a big finale to have a happy resolution. My partner, however, enjoyed the movie so feel free to take my opinion with a grain of salt!

I think if this movie is taken in the spirit that it is meant, it’s a good movie. I’m biased though, as I love Melissa McCarthy. I thought the movie was funny, charming, and a solid watch start to finish. Even though it has a fairly predictable ending, I really enjoyed the ride. Would definitely recommend as an easy watch comedy!
