If you're looking for a compelling spy thriller or an intelligent action movie, "GOAT" is NOT the film for you. Despite its hype, it’s nothing more than a star-vehicle that relies on over-the-top heroics, absurd logic, and outdated clichés
And, of course, in true Bollywood and Kollywood style, there’s the obligatory friend turning traitor trope. It’s a tired and overused plot device that adds zero originality or intrigue to the story. By now, audiences can see these twists coming from a mile away.
"GOAT" is a movie for Vijay fans, and ONLY Vijay fans. If you’re looking for logic, realism, or even decent storytelling, stay far away from this film. It’s a prime example of how Indian cinema often sacrifices substance for style and stardom. Instead of trying to create a true espionage thriller, this movie opts for dumbed-down action scenes and larger-than-life heroics that have no place in a serious spy film.
Avoid it unless you’re in the mood for mindless 3 hrs entertainment that doesn’t challenge your brain.
