SPOILER FREE REVIEW!!!!!!!! It was a brave attempt by the director, given the fiasco he made with his last venture. Portraying the protagonist as larger than life has become a trend and this movie is no different. The visuals are good. But when it comes to the plot and story, the movie falls flat. You can easily guess the twist in first 30 minutes. Action scenes are decent but the dialogs are bland and doesn't carry enough weight to keep you hooked. The emotional scenes feel forced. And some scenes are laughable and devoid of logic at best. Coming to the actors, NTR as aways pulls off his character with powerful acting. And saif shines in this movie playing the antagonist. Jahnvi was more like eye candy but I believe she will play a bigger role in the next part. Others have done a good job with what limited screen time they all had. However, I believe they could have done a better job in adding more nuance and grit to the story. Everyone knows there will be a second part. But there is not enough meat in the story that needs a sequel. So it will be interesting to see what the director brings to the table.

I am writing this review just moments after watching the movie, so that you can get a fresh perspective of it. And also whether you should spend your hard earned money. Mind you, this is a detailed and honest review without any bias. From the start to the very end I had just one question. Why? Why did they have to spend 400 crore for such an absurdly mediocre farce of a movie. Why did the dialogs have to be so cringy and at times utterly stupid that you would believe it to be written by an amateur writer who lives in his own fantasy land devoid of logic or anything remotely sensible. And trust me your head too will be filled with many such Whys. Vfx is okaish. Nothing to be wowed about. At times felt like that of a TV serial. Fire doesn't burn grass as you would witness. And you would encounter many such photoshop filters. Writing, as I said was lazy and devoid of any flavors. So much that you would not care to be invested about the movie. Nothing to put you on the edge of the seat. You can skip the chasing sequence. Action scenes are poorly made. Laugh worthy even. You might be thinking I am just ranting. But believe me I am not. This is what it is. Not even Shahrukh or nagarjun can salvage this movie with their presence. If you want to watch, watch it. And read this review again after coming back. On the passing note, the climax of the movie, the dialogs at that point of time.... darn funny.
