Gears 5 is very average at best. The story is not great, there are bugs galore, and the gameplay is very laggy. Also, if you were hoping to sit down with your friends and play Horde mode, change your plans if you don't have live. Doesn't matter that you bought the game or that you just want to split screen; that mode is locked behind an additional paywell. Welcome to full price games in the 2010's. Just want to squeeze every dime out of you rather than making a good game
