Very disappointed with this new character and plot. I’ve liked his previous series with Bosch, Ballard and Lincoln Lawyer, but this is not a patch on those. I feel it has been written by someone else. Mechanical, wooden prose, unlike Connelly’s usual style. Has put me off buying another book by him until I’ve read the reviews.
