Honestly, I put this off for a while because of all the hate, but I finally gave it a watch (the directors cut) and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Visuals are stunning, it’s a cool and interesting world that I’d actually like to learn more about, I will say Zack Snyder loves his slo-mo, if not a little excessively. While yes it draws heavily from other sources, and some dialogue is kind of cheesy, if you go into it with an open mind it’s a pretty awesome watch. It’s basically Star Wars but more gritty and brutal, my kind of show.

The only good thing about this show is Master Sol, Lee Jeong-Jae, love him and his character. Set pieces are cool and the martial art combat is a decent change versus saber combat. But everything else? Makes the chase scene in Book of Boba Fett seem like riveting television. The writing, the directing, the acting, atrocious. Kathleen Kennedy needs to be removed, and Dave Filoni take the helm. In Filoni we trust.
