In '60s we read "Golu Hadawatha" (unexpressed love or Dumb Heart) by Karunasena Jayalath of Sri Lanka which was made a film subsequently. We loved it. "96" is somewhat similar in them but far more advanced and cinematic in every aspect. We love it wholeheartedly and unconditionally. It was a treat to watch
