I always have been a fan of the South Indian movies so much so that i have watched almost all their remakes in hindi and even appreciated them mostly. Movies like Wanted, Rowdy Rathore, Kabir Singh, Drishyam and Singham etc to name a few have all facinated us and glued us up with to the seats despite the fact that we are already well versed with the story line. But this flim Laxmi has rocked me to my core in a funny way though. Raghava Lawrence a pretty good enough director and actor himself, but Laxmi is a bad flim but offcourse every one can have an off day( but this became quite a few off days for him). Sharad Kelkar was the lone sliverlining ligining in an otherswise dark sky, poor writing and screenplay, deficient acting and what not. Kanchana in comparision was much much better then this. My humble advice even though it might not matter much is to kindly skip this movie and watch Footfairy it is wee bit better then this 2hour 20 mins torture.( *****DISCLAIMER - this is purely my personal view point as a cinema enthusiast my self ) 156 people found this helpful.
