For it's time, it was a good movie. As a pilot, I spotted a few boo-boos (the N-number on the Baron doesn't match what Dana Andrews refers to himself as, the fact that a 747 flies like an overgrown Cessna 172 for another, and no damage to engine after it runs through a radar shack sitting so close to the runway?). The method used to put a pilot into the plane was simply charming. Overall, a pretty good film, not Oscar worthy, but not bad.
