The filmmakers made it very hard for themselves telling a story that’s actually a chapter in a well known book. It has no real plot or arc. It’s more of an episode. It feels like the pilot for a tv series. But they did a great job of everything they controlled. Acting, writing, direction, lighting, sound, effects, set, wardrobe. Give this a team a script and look out, you’ll have a movie. I wasn’t bored, and given there was never a moment of mystery, that’s saying something. If the trailer grabbed you, see it.
