From reading the comments you either love it or not. I went Saturday with my almost 17 year old son. He & I went together and watched the first Smile. I did not watch the trailer for this movie. Within minutes the movie gets crazy! It does follow a pop star that had a drug addiction and something horrible that happened the year before. The jump scares are fantastic! It will get you! This movie had more gore than I expected. Although it was long it was scare packed! I did chuckle after being scared a few times. The main actress was phenomenal! The reason for the 4 stars is because the ending gave me poltergeist vibes. I hope there is a Smile 3.

I took my 9 almost 10 year old to see this today. He loved it! He gave it a 10 out of 10. He also said it was a 5 out of 10 scare wise. He knows more about the video game than I do. The movie had a good plot and was interesting. Maybe 1 or 2 jump scares. Personally for me who likes horror or thrillers there was nothing scary about this movie. This might be scary for kids 7 and under. My rating is based off my 9 year old.
