This game looks like it should be good, which makes its bad design all the more baffling.
Where to begin? Normally, game design is meant to be somewhat instructive, teaching you how to operate within the game's rules. Don't kill guards in a busy square, yeah? Except, everything in this game is contradictory. There are no mechanics or styles to learn; it's random. The game punishes you for following a light as often as it punishes you for not doing so.
I can't stress enough how frustrating this game is overall. It's nearly impossible to play without looking up walkthroughs outside of the game. Save yourself. Play Gone Home or Edith Finch or Firewatch instead.
