This review is purely for Story. I do not care too much about acting performances although the Superintendent Grail was too good.
Spoilers:
1. Moriarty: Being the mastermind and the greatest mind of that age, at the grand reveal had no reason to be there (being the secretary is no excuse in the face of exposure) or be that vocal and emotional. It simply feels out of character. And the escape from custody was such a cliche.
2. Sarah Chapman's revolution: The girls that were unmoved by an arguably mediocre speech suddenly joined in after a rhythmic boot stomp 3 seconds later? Their original reason to reject the revolution after the speech was money and family. How did that change after the boot stomp? It made no sense to me.
3. Arrest of Treasury Minister by Lord Tewkesbury: The only proof was destroyed. The movie does not explain the grounds of the arrest.
4. Cicely is largely unaffected by the news of her beloved's death.
