Didn't see this incredible film until a few years ago... And I've watched it a couple of times since. Outstanding performances by Matt and Robin... How slinging folk in prison is not the answer... How someone can help another come to terms with their life issues and in doing so sort their own... How you truly need to resonate at that person's level to win their confidence... There are some incredibly touching scenes and some funny ones... Life in the fast lane of young lads seen through the eyes of young lads 'cause it was written by the young men themselves... Ok they say it's predictable film but that doesn't detract from some f**king great script and awesome acting... and so richly deserving of the 2 Academy Awards. R.I.P. Robin.
