It feels sincere and not overly dramatic. As a viewer you are drawn and become invested in the lives of key actors. Brilliantly directed and the writing does not miss a beat. Intricate yet not so complexed that you cannot follow! Looking forward to series 4.

Heart breaking and fabulous. Brought to life perfectly by a phenomenal cast. Real world issues faced by women tackled with depth, humility, self reflection and pure emotional agility. Wonderful. Please BBC secure a 2nd and 3rd series. A show that champions women and the gritty challenges that they face. Sally Wainwright executes empathy perfectly in delivering this wonderful story about a group of women robustly navigating life with all of its ups and downs in glorious technicolour.

This brilliantly produced and delivered series blends perfectly the news and temperaments of the era it is in. The stories of the key characters are interwoven with depth and magic. Resulting in TV viewing that is congruent and honest. It covers topics such as racism, sexism, bigotry, mental health and addiction. This is not delivered in a sensational soap opera Zeigarnik Effect way, but with an open invitation to come back and discover what happens next. As the viewer you are invested and cheer at the TV when the disingenuous and undermining characters finally get there come uppance. More of this quality of viewing please. And bravo to all involved.
