As a 10-year-old who loved this book I was really excited to see the movie with a friend who also read it. We went to the theater and of course I’m really excited because I loved the book. At the beginning of the movie I had high expectations because I mean the book Was awesome, but the movie was complete trash. I mean both me and my friend basically talked whole time and by the end we both thought it was way too far off from the book. Honestly, I think if I had never read the book I would think it was an OK movie, but reading the book however means that this was a horrible experience to watch. If you read the book probably won’t like the movie.
