I really wanted this to be good. It started off quite promising and then went downhill from there. The flashbacks completely ruined it for me. I didn't care for her past only her ability to find her way out of the wilderness. There were far too many flashbacks and this completely ruined the programme. If they have a 2nd season, could they, anyway? for goodness sake ditch the flashbacks. As other reviewers have said, some of the events were just laughable and without merit. I must confess to not caring whether she makes it out or not. Why she just did not follow the river to the mountains and beyond is mystifying. Where she was camped was a lot closer to the supposed town lights, than the forest route she strangely embarked on. Her character in flashbacks was not likeable and didn't invoke any emotional connection to her. The actress herself was excellent. Its the script she had to work with that needed tweaking big time. Such a shame because it could have been brilliant. I am debating whether to finish it or not. At present, (spoiler alert) she is in the cave and the whole 5th episode is boring, boring, boring. Full of flashbacks and ridiculous hallucinations and not much else.
