Diana Valentine

Not sure how I feel about it. It has a weird awkward start. I did not laugh even once. I got confused a lot whether or not she’s imagining things or they’re actually happening to her. I had high hopes when I saw the title but it just shows a very messed up (journalism/ entertainment?) industry. It looked like a cult that she got sucked into and she’s so in over herself. I won’t even recommend that teenagers watch it. The title should’ve been “How to destroy a girl”. The movie has good intentions and message under all the mess though—I commend it for that. But it was torture to watch. I finished the movie because I was hoping for it to get better but..

I like the show but the host is very condescending and rude and close minded. Being a traveller, you need to be able to adapt or see things in a different perspective but the host is just stuck to what he knows and even when the locals explain things to him, he just doesn’t want to accept it. His voice is very well suited as a narrator though. But he’s one of the few boring/stiff/inactive traveller I’ve seen.
