The story let the rest of the movie down—effects, soundtrack, acting—all great to good. The narrative not only makes no sense but never captures the imagination… why did this happen? How? It refuses to answer any questions bc it is a dud, an empty shell. Waste of time I really didn’t have.

It could be good, but the script is bi-polar. Use the “Monk” format and you’ve got a winner. I’ve watched 4 episodes, so maybe premature, but I’m not finishing. I checked out other reviews on other platforms, and they seem to be loaded with bots. Nothing here inspires anyone to bother to review, except as a warning.

I don’t know why the NYT didn’t like this movie it was fantastic! I found it thrilling though I hate the Scuttlebutt song.
