It was brilliant. It's too bad so many reviewers in the arse-kissing "Reviewer's Club" didn't get it but actually, they probably did, it's just that they go through these juvenile phases where they like to gang up on a production just because they CAN and since they're shameless arse-kissers who write for EACH OTHER and not for the public, they never want to risk alienating the others in their "Club" so they parrot each other. This film captures that tumultuous period in the film industry between the Silents and the Talkies perfectly and all the Lead Actors were fabulous, Margot Robbie, in particular, in the Clara Bowesque role. If you've never read a biography of Bow, you wouldn't understand. Make it a point to see this film.

This is an excellently curated and constructed series presenting in explicit detail those horrific events through previously undisclosed eyewitness reports. It is a heartbreaking series but extremely valuable: every American irrespective of political affiliation needs to watch this series to remind him/her that we are all Americans and that there are courageous heroes and heroines amongst us, in great abundance. It is especially a loving portrait of the people of New York City as they work together to help each other in the worst day in American history.

It's a great escapist fantasy, the idea of being able to physically fight back with men via focused electrical charges. Some Critics have expressed frustration with this show as going "too slow" at first but I found the transition to be realistic in terms of how events would unfold and how the world would react to this new power in females. No doubt, these Critics are too used to the DC and Marvel Universes of instant superpowers and instant subjugations. I would like females to take away from this sci-fi fantasy the realisation that we, as women, *do* possess great power equal to and over men...it isn't physical, but then it doesn't have to be.
