5 stars for great chemistry, acting an suspense. 1 star for how unrealistic it is and how is misrepresents Judaism (even Reform Judaism). It has the rabbi as traditional (he says he doesn’t use his phone on Shabbat, wears a black velvet kippah which only orthodox do) but then he eats wherever he wants and doesn’t keep kosher, which is super weird. He has candles on his table at the end of Shabbat (umm that’s Friday night not Saturday night!) . The whole relationship is based on sex and the ending is completely dumb. The lesson for her is to not change who she is for him, but suddenly he gives up his lifelong dream of becoming head rabbi for her 🤷♀️ not believable at all. Non Jews will love this but it was a very disappointing representation of the Jewish community in LA (yes I live here!)
