I dont normally write reviews for games but I felt like this one might be helpful for some people. I'm a long standing borderlands fan, I've played borderlands 1 and 2 multiple times and the pre sequel once. I'd say I very much enjoy a lot of what borderlands 3 is, but it's not without its complaints from me. The main story is forgettable at times and annoying at others. Our villains in this game are a drag compared to handsome jack, but more interesting than the chick with white hair from borderlands 1. However, borderlands 3 still delivered on the sidequests, which are fun and have much better writing/storytelling than that of the main story. The combat and gameplay of borderlands 3 is a direct improvement to that of borderlands 2, and doesn't stay away from what made borderlands shooting and fighting fun and memorable. The looting and farming of rare and unique weapons/gear is at an all time high, and personally I found guns to drop more frequently in this game than its predecessors. My favourite part of borderlands 3 is its vault hunters. Honestly they are all really fun and visually interesting. I did a full playthrough as FL4K, and as Zayne and have to say the only vault hunters I like more or equally would be Krieg (my all time favourite) and Zer0. Zayne is my second favourite vault hunter to play in the entire series, and I genuinely laughed at his lines, and also felt extremely badass while playing as him. Vault hunters are also more versatile than previous protagonists, possessing 3 potential "action skills" that can be interchangeably used or simultaneously used depending on your character. I don't want to say anything more because I'd recommend you all play the game and form your own opinion. In conclusion, I'd say the game isn't perfect but is a very fun and entertaining game that I like to come back to and enjoy for the right reasons that a game is enjoyed for. Cheers!
