Incredible film. The cast is insane, DeNiro, Pacino, Pesci, the list is a mile long. Scorsese directed it, feels just like "The Good Ol' Days" of Scorsese's "Gangster Films". The de-ageing looks great, I can't think of a bad thing to say about this film. It is long, about 3 hours long. This wasn't a negative aspect for me, I loved every minute of it. However not everyone is stoked to sit and watch a three hour long movie. So if you're more of a "90 minute film type of person", I'd still recommend it, just break it down in to two halves, or three parts or whatever. Do not let the runtime intimidate you and prevent you from seeing this entire film. Just watch it! Five Stars all day long... -

An instant classic. Given time, It will be regarded as one of the greatest films ever made. The cast is outstanding, I can't remember ever seeing so many talented actors in one film like this before. Everyone brought their A-Game and absolutely nailed their respective performances. I haven't been this intrigued or as impressed by a film in many years. It's absolutely brilliant. The handful of negative reviews I have seen completely baffled me. They must be a due to a lack of intelligence, a lack of a sense of humour, perhaps a lack of taste in film itself, or a combination of all three. I'm unsure of all that but I know an exceptional film when I see one, and I'll be damned if this film isn't praised for everything that it is, and everything that it isn't. I didn't think they even made films like this anymore. I was shocked and delighted to find out that I couldn't have been more wrong about that. I recommend everyone see Amsterdam. It's not for everyone, but the people who it is for, the people who actually sit down and watch it (and actually pay attention...) I think THEY will absolutely adore this film. My only regret is that I was unable to see it properly in a theater. -
