I have seen all 3 versions of this book and I can safely say they do a great job with the franchise. Each one prior has been unique and not a money grab copy of the first. This one is no exception. It is clearly a different take and that is not bad at all. For as much as Hugh Grant sounds like a giant whiner when you see him in the pressers he was funny in a grumpy old man way as the oompa loompa. Key was a great addition to the cast and added to the hilarity. Overall it was a really fantastic take on Willy Wonka and everyone did a great job. My kid is 9 and this is the first non animation that he has seen at the movies and he loved it. Watched it to the very end and was on the edge of his seat. Good core memory
