This is a very good movie and great to see women as producers. The main actresses are fantastic. I've always thought Jessica Chastain was an exceptional actress but didn't always rate Anne Hathaway. Now I can see why Anne Hathaway is so popular. The cinematography is amazing. It seems exaggerated but this is how (white) America was back then. Love, love, love seeing women driven films.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I absolutely love the OG. Vicki, Jo and Joanna wrote and starred in a brilliant, funny, poignant show. Who needs an American remake, right? Well actually, Laurie, Neicy and Alex are amazing in a version that pays homage and then goes off on its own. The British NHS struggles but the American Health "service" is comical and the show writes itself. Love all the actresses involved and the ladies that play all of the Patients are so layered and beautiful. So, if you're American, please watch the original. If you're British, PLEASE watch the adaptation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is quite different from the other versions. I loved the original series 1 but the following series were becoming pretty dull. Everyone featured were experts (with little or no personality) and episode after episode were the same. Yes, the UK version has people who would never make it on the other versions. But that's what makes it interesting. They are relatable and likeable. 6 EPs was a bit short (31 days) and there was very little coverage of how they built their shelters, etc.... but do we really need to be watching people for 3 months? Don't watch this series of you're a a diehard fan. But it is uplifting and entertaining.

This is so good! Could have been sentimental and twee but the balance of humour and drama are perfect. Some of the one liners are absolutely hilarious. It also highlights many important issues that females of all ages experience (but shouldn't!). The cast are brilliant and the show portrays a part/culture of Britain that is so overlooked but should be celebrated. Laughed out loud and had a a few cries too. Loved it.
