"The Blue-Eyed Samurai" is marred by what appears to be a blatant and intrusive push for a woke agenda, particularly when it comes to its transgender topics.
The creators seem to have taken a haphazard approach to representing Japan, showcasing a lack of depth in their portrayal of the culture and its rich history. This carelessness is evident in the inaccurate and, at times, disrespectful depiction of Japanese customs, traditions, and societal norms.
The 3D-generated graphics felt hapazardly put together, lacking the attention to detail that many anime fans appreciate. The visuals, instead of being a highlight, ended up being a letdown.
