Truly a masterpiece. From the trailers and Youtube interviews, I thought it was about stateless (undocumented) people in Malaysia but this theme served only as the backdrop of the movie. Its about wanting to belong, surviving under uncertain circumstances, seeking connections and ultimately LOVE. Tears just flowed and flowed and not a single dry eye in the theatre either, sniffles everywhere. The guy seated next to me kept rubbing his eyes. I love the endearing Money姐 character. Funding in the local film industry is a common problem and this movie took a while to get made. I was pleasantly surprised that Anglelica Lee (李心洁) was the producer. Writer and Director Jin Ong is just brilliant. I am so very proud we have high quality film makers in Malaysia, such great substance! Oscar? YES! A must watch!!! 9.5/10
