Movie should have been called never let anyone go see this movie.
Had me thinking maybe the mother and one of the kids was schizophrenic only to reveal at the end that the evil was real?
Talking about the actual scares the quality of the evil itself was laughable. Just a demented looking old woman talking nonsense about spanking.
