A fascinating read about the childhood of Trevor Noah growing up during apartheid and his life after. The highlight being about his mother, who made him the man he is today. However some chapters were a bit drawn out and very tedious to get through especially about his pirated CD hustle with his friends. The "Cheese Boys" chapter could have been omitted entirely. There seems to be a lot of filler in this book. Overall this was a pretty okay read. It really does open your mind up to the struggles of black people in South Africa and their amazing story of overcoming adversity.
