I think I hate this game. They really pulled back on the plot and tried to make something simple after how many arguments Three Houses made but it really works against this game. It's too simple and it really leaves me feeling like I just don't care. The thing that really upsets me though is the large variety of currencies you have to collect to be able to upgrade everything. The game barely gives you metal, money, and SP. Why am I being starved for progress in this game? Grinding skirmishes doesn't help. Even when I've donated money to countries to raise the drops a few levels, I'm getting iron in single digits. Lastly, I hate the entire ring/emblem system. Instead of letting us mix classes around and gain skills like in previous games, you only get two free slots and you can only learn skills from the rings. You only get one class skill. You need SP to get skills from the rings and you need 2000 SP to get a decent one which takes many hours of grinding just to get one. You will blow through the ending of this game with weapons that aren't upgraded and without many good skills because the game just doesn't want you to have it. Easily the worst Fire Emblem experience I've had.
