Even though, the plot line doesn't offer novelty as the story is not something new as revenge has always been an ancient old theme in Tamil cinema, one might presume that it's the only thing the movie offers. But that is not entirely what the movie offers. It's subtle yet quite impactful if one pays attention that the first part of the story is about a women who has become a victim of circumstances in a patriarchal society but was strong enough to make a decision out of societal norm for the sake of her children, in absence of her husband. Unlike most movies that are 'specially' made for women these days, the portrayal of a strong, bold woman stood on it's own without the director forcefully highlighting it which also owes to the fantastic performance of Radhikaa Sarathkumar. The later part of story had a bit of revenge and a little on a father who have been missing from his kids' life for so long and he is seen to make up for the times he had missed unlike a usual revenge story that ends up being a 'bloody' scene. There were few subplots and some scenes felt a little forced and it made the film draggy but overall, it's still a pleasant movie to watch as it is amazingly star-studded and they did justice to their roles by giving their best performance. It's a feel good movie !
