Was this film written by a 12 year old? Perhaps not. Even a kid is far more creative than this garbage film. The film has a basic storyline with several cliches: a red ruby diamond, laser security, an unbeatable thief with a troubled past but no character weaknesses, etc. The “heist” aspect is very predictable. Acting is immensely cringe. Dialogues are pathetic. I believe this film would’ve achieved more success if it was more gamified to be catered to younger audiences. But they just had to include poorly used profanity and treat actors like eye candy, from which I honestly got second hand embarrassment. If you NEED to watch a Saif Ali Khan heist film, go watch Race 2. Much better.

Iss picture mein dum nahi tha 😔. The entire film felt like listening to someone’s story being dragged far more than it needs to be. The plot had so much potential, yet failed so miserably. Terrible acting by every single person. Tabu, for whom I had started watching the film, had a pathetic role. There was little character development that made me feel even a tiny bit of empathy for anyone. I see what the writer was trying to do. Short, hard hitting dialogues with immense depth, to leave the audience with a sense of wonderment. But in reality, it made the dialogues sound so pretentious and so repetitive. Very few dialogues were natural and smooth, which made the characters seem less ‘human’ and more like just ‘characters’. I’m not some fancy film critic, just your average Bollywood lover. So I’ve never really focused much on the technicalities of a film. Yet, for the first time, I’ve never hated sound design this much. Even the least shocking scenes had the most dramatic music. Almost as if they were forcing the viewer to feel the shock. Made my head hurt. Not to mention the terrible song as well. It was played in the film like a hundred times. Or were they all different songs? I don’t know - they all sounded the same to me. The scenes felt very oddly sequenced. They would narrate something in real time, then unnecessarily show that same thing in a flashback without revealing any new information. All in all, the film had great potential in terms of plot, but I feel it died somewhere in trying to decide on a genre: romance, mystery, drama, or coming of age?

UTTER TRASH. YEH KYA HAI BHAI? Absolutely nothing in this film is worth liking. It does no justice to its prequel. There are several scenes that will just make you feel awkward to the bones and cringe. The writing is pathetic and the unrealistic story is only meant to spread propaganda. At a time of such sensitivity between two countries, they should’ve made a more meaningful movie about peace, rather than just start another fictional and unnecessary war. Sunny honestly lacks all emotion and acting capabilities. Utkarsh (his son in the film) makes me question if newcomer auditions even happen any more? After all, he’s the director’s son. Not to mention that even the songs are all generic and are quite forgettable, in my opinion (and of course one of them is a remix of an older song). And even after all this you are wanting to watch the film, sure, go ahead. But watch it as a comedy. Bollywood’s misery is truly laughable.

Just wasted 2 hours of my life. Worst “murder mystery” I’ve ever seen. The movie had pathetic character development, an obvious plot and really awkward dialogues. They would just pull random facts out of thin air and say “mystery solved!”. I could watch films like Knives Out and Murder Mystery for the tenth time and still be more interested than this. Bollywood, you can do better. Much better than this.
