A very interesting book of wide scope and depth. Also relates the degree to which people will try to dominate others thereby isolating themselves. A book that illustrates the low status of women before WW1. Certainly worth a read. I pose that O'Hara is the Faulkner of Pennsylvania.

I have not seen it, have no interest in seeing it, and I do not like cats for a wide variety of reasons. But at least some fine actors got to act like fools and get paid for starring (!) in it from the reviews I have skimmed.
